An in-memory ERP core built for real-time business

SAP

Faster processing, built on SAP HANA

SAP S/4HANA is SAP's in-memory ERP suite, available since 2010, built to run SAP ERP and Business Suite workloads on the SAP HANA database (or select other databases) for significantly faster processing and reporting than traditional disk-based systems.

Isun Technova supports S/4HANA implementation, migration from legacy SAP ECC systems, and ongoing configuration support, backed by a qualified SAP consulting team.

How It Fits Together

One in-memory platform, connected to everything around it

SAP S/4HANA's Fiori experience, applications and HANA platform connect out to IoT, business networks and social channels on one side, and to people, devices and big data on the other — deployable on-premise or in the cloud, with native integration across the SAP ecosystem.

Key Capabilities

What this covers

Real-Time Processing

In-memory computing gives near-instant reporting on live transactional data.

Unified Data Model

Simplified data structures reduce duplication across finance, sales and logistics.

ECC Migration Path

Structured migration support for businesses moving off legacy SAP ECC.

Embedded Analytics

Built-in reporting reduces reliance on separate BI extraction layers.

Flexible Deployment

Runs on-premise, in the cloud, or in a hybrid configuration.

Configuration Support

Ongoing configuration, patching and support after go-live.

Deployment Options

On-premise, cloud, or hybrid

SAP S/4HANA can be deployed on premises, in the cloud, or through a hybrid model. The product offering consists of two editions: SAP S/4HANA On-Premise and SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

On-Premise is similar in coverage, functionality, industry-specific support and localization to the SAP Business Suite (39 languages, 64 country versions). Cloud is available in 18 languages and 33 country versions, and is central to SAP's cloud strategy.

Both editions cover finance, accounting, controlling, procurement, sales, manufacturing, plant maintenance, project systems and product lifecycle management — plus integration with SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, Hybris, Fieldglass and Concur.

Upgrade Paths

Three ways to get to S/4HANA

New Implementation (Greenfield)

For businesses migrating from a non-SAP legacy system or a prior SAP ERP system, with a fresh install and initial data load using standard migration tools.

System Conversion (Brownfield)

A complete conversion of an existing SAP Business Suite system to S/4HANA, technically based on Software Update Manager with Database Migration Option.

Landscape Transformation

Consolidating regional SAP systems into one global S/4HANA system, or carving out selected entities or processes into a single system.

Why It Matters

Benefits for your business

  • Faster month-end close with real-time financial data
  • Fewer reconciliation issues from a single unified data model
  • Reporting that doesn't require a separate data warehouse for basic needs
  • A migration path that protects existing SAP investment

Who This Is For

Mid-size to large organizations running (or planning to run) SAP as their core ERP, particularly those currently on SAP ECC considering a S/4HANA migration.
